Halton Police ready to open new Oakville police station in Oak Park

The Halton Regional Police Service will be moving from the current Oakville 2 District police station to their new facility in north Oakville.

The new Oakville police station, located at 95 Oak Walk Drive, (South of Dundas, between Oak Park Boulevard and Sixth Line) will be open to the public on Monday March 8th, at 6:00 am.  Persons wishing to attend the Oakville 2 District Station will be required to attend the new facility effective that date as the existing Whiteoaks Blvd station will be permanently closed.

Located south of Dundas Street between Oak Park Boulevard and Sixth Line, the 70,000 square foot facility will accommodate personnel from the existing White Oaks Boulevard location as well as some units currently deployed at Police Headquarters.

The Halton Regional Police look forward to serving the citizens of Oakville from this new, modern and state of the art facility.

  • Floor plan: 3 levels, including a full basement
  • Use: Will house Oakville operations as well as a number of Regional Investigative Units
  • Anticipated Construction Budget: $14.1-million
  • Target Occupancy Date: March 8th, 2010
  • General Contractor: Jasper Construction Corporation
  • Architect: CS & P Architects
