Camp at Bronte Creek and enjoy spooky fun this October

Join the fun at Bronte Creek Provincial Park on Saturday, October 24th, 2009 and celebrate Halloween camper-style. Registered campers are invited to decorate their campsite and trick-or-treat around the campground… then join the Park Naturalist for a “Creepy Hike”!

What an opportunity!  A guided tour at night all about creepy, spooky animals — a great primer for Halloween night!

We will discover cool facts about many misunderstood night creatures including coyotes.  All of your senses will be on alert as you walk the trail in search of the perfect coyote habitat.  Your guide will teach you how to howl for coyotes….and maybe you will get a response from our resident pack!

This event is suitable for school aged children and their parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles.  Not suitable for family pets.   Please dress appropriately for the weather.  Specific details will be available upon registration at the park.

This Halloween event is for registered campers only, trick or treat around the campground on October 24!  Ghosts and goblins will go from site to site instead of door to door.  Get in the spirit and decorate your tent or trailer.  A great family weekend!

Camping fee is $36.75/ night.  Contact Bronte Creek Provincial Park & reserve today 1-888-668-7275. For more information on our park events please call 905-827-6911 or visit www.brontecreek.org or www.OntarioParks.com.
